Eaton Invitational Results

Oakwood Swimmers placed first overall out of nine teams at the Eaton Senior Invitational with Oakwood 202, Eaton 154, Valley View 56, Newton 42, Piqua 21, National Trail 14, Covington 12, Lehman Catholic 7, and Russia 5.

 

The girls placed second out of nine teams at the Eaton Senior Invitational with Eaton 89, Oakwood 85, Valley View 33, Piqua 16, Lehman Catholic 7, Russia 5, National Trail 3, and Newton 3. 

The boys placed first out of nine teams at the Eaton Senior Invitational with Oakwood 117, Eaton 65, Newton 39, Valley View 23, Covington 12, National Trail 11, and Piqua 5. 

 

Scorers for the girls included: the relay of Audrey Havrilla, Matilda Prizler, Kate Autrey, and Evvie Thompson (2nd) in the 200 Medley Relay; Sarah Eizenga (1st) in 200 Free; Prizler (1st) in 200 IM; Autrey (2nd) in 100 Fly; Havrilla (1st) in 100 Free; Prizler (1st) in 500 Free; the relay of Eizenga, Thompson, Autrey, and Havrilla (1st) in the 200 Free Relay; Havrilla (1st) in 100 Back; Eizenga (1st) in 100 Breast; and the relay of Eizenga, Thompson, Autrey, and Prizler (1st) in the 400 Free Relay.

 

Scorers for the boys included: the relays of Grant Zhou, Zihan Qian, Elliot Simon, and Liam Fuhrman (1st) and Finn Sullivan, Alec Chodkowski, Rocco Ferri, and Jude Fuhrman (4th) in the 200 Medley Relay; Sullivan (1st) and Ollie DeLong (3rd) in 200 IM; Will Steipp (2nd), L Fuhrman (3rd), and Qian (4th) in 50 Free; Simon (1st) and Zhou (6th) in 100 Fly, Steipp (2nd) in 500 Free; the relays of Sullivan, R Ferri, J Fuhrman, and Steipp (1st) and DeLong, Seth Schwartz, Luca Ferri, and Evan Herwig (3rd) in the 200 Free Relay; Simon (1st), L Fuhrman (3rd), and Zhou (4th) in 100 Back; R Ferri (3rd) in 100 Breast; and the relay of Qian, Steipp, Simon, and L Fuhrman (1st) in the 400 Free Relay. A handful of performances were just outside of scoring range: Herwig (7th) and L Ferri (8th) in 200 Free; J Fuhrman (7th) and DeLong (8th) in 100 Fly; Chodkowski (7th), Schwartz (8th), and Robb (9th) in 100 Free; Herwig (7th) in 100 Back; L Ferri (7th), J Fuhrman (8th), and Chodkowski (9th) in 100 Breast.

 

Swimmers earning season or lifetime best times included: 

GIRLS: Autrey (100 Fly) and Eizenga (100 Breast). BOYS: DeLong (200 IM), L Ferri (200 Free), R Ferri (100 Fly), L Fuhrman (50 Free and 100 Back), Herwig (200 Free and 100 Back),  Robb (50 Free), Schwartz (50 Free and 100 Free), Steipp (500 Free), Sullivan (200 IM and 100 Breast), and Zhou (100 Fly).
